Chinese Tourist Visas are issued to individuals who come to China to visit friends or family members, do sightseeing or take care of personal affairs.

Eligible applicants may choose from two Chinese Tourist Visa options:

• Single Entry Chinese Tourist Visa – The single entry visa for China is valid for 3 to 6 months. You need to enter China within 90 or 180 days from the date of approval. When you enter China, you can stay for up to 30 days. This is the most popular visa option amongst tourists and people entering China to reconnect with friends and relatives.
• Double Entry Chinese Tourist Visa – The double entry visa for China allows you to enter the country on two occasions. As with the Single Entry visa, you have 3 to 6 months to activate the visa. If you fail to take advantage of your Chinese Tourist Visa in that timeframe, the visa automatically expires. In order to enter the country on this visa, you need to provide proof of 2 entries. For example, a pair of 2-way tickets.

Your visa will be issued in 5 to 10 business days, after you submit a valid application form. UK citizens can also have their visa issued in 3 days, by using our Express Visa Processing service.

*Please note that a valid invitation is required. The Chinese Visa invitation can be an Invitation Letter on letter-headed paper from an authorised Chinese Government Department or Government-authorised company.
